Position: Food Scientist

Duties:
Work with existing soy/rice products & processes or new ingredients, and state-of-the-art technologies to invent new recipes and modify foods to create Chinese healthy food products; research consumers’ preference and latest technologies to develop new product concepts; test new products for flavor, texture, color and nutritional value; develop new or improved ways of preserving, processing, packaging, storing and delivering foods; develop samples/prototypes of new products and work with Chinese speaking sales, marketing, quality assurance, and manufacturing personnel to coordinate new product production processes and labeling; work with Chinese speaking process engineer & supervisor to design the processes for making products with a consistent flavor, color and texture in large quantities; check and improve quality control procedures in our factory/lab from the raw material stage through to the finished product; & address safety and quality issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science related field + 2 years experience in job or as a scientist or technologist involving food testing or examination. Must be conversant in Chinese language.
